The McCann School Council is comprised of the principal, who serves as the chair person, faculty, parents, community members and students in grades ten through twelve.
Through a series of meetings, the school council assists the principal in adopting educational goals for the school which are consistent with state and local policies and standards, identifying the educational needs of students attending the school, and the formation of a School Improvement Plan.
The School Council also increases school spirit by sponsoring “Spirit Weeks” during the year and serves the community through service projects.
